Me, too! If I drink too much Diet Coke, I get addicted in a big way. And it isn’t the caffeine, because regular coke doesn’t do it. I got very irritated and annoyed in the morning before I got the Diet Coke, then I had to have one in the afternoon. And nothing but Diet Coke would do. I quit drinking them and felt better. I imagine if I cut out caffeine, also, I would feel even better, but that’s a huge hurdle. I had a friend who was a Diet Coke fanatic. She would leave parties to go to the convenience store to get a Diet Coke. And movies, and your house, and whatever. It was weird. I don’t think it is psychological, either. I think it is truly addicting. It’s a plot (insert sarcasm) against women by Coca-Cola. 🙂
