I also suffered from Aspartame poisoning From June of 1995 to June of 1996 I was using about 3 1/2 pkgs of Equal per day.  During this year I suffered from diarrhea (all the time), painful sore eyes, two blackouts similar to those suffered by xxxxxxx, painful upper arms, painful neck, sharp pains of unknown origin, bleeding stomach, disorientation, and constant intestinal problems.  I too found the answer on the internet.  I immediately quit using Aspartame.  Two days later almost all my problems disappeared!  The pain in my upper arms is almost gone and my neck pains are greatly diminished.  There is no question that Aspartame caused my health problems.
