I read in great detail the postings on the warnings against consuming Aspartame, or “Equal”. I just didn’t understand why I was putting on weight. I was blaming it on the Seattle winters, it was the large consumptions of equal packages and diet Aspartame teas daily. Aspartame does mess with your serotonin levels. I was craving carbohydrates excessively. I would eat a whole bag of rice cakes at one setting and a 1/2 bag of fat free corn chips, etc. Now it’s been 4 months that I don’t consume that product and I have lost the 8 lbs. I had gained during the last two years.
I still watched my weight, but my unusual cravings were anathema to me. I’m so glad I read the warnings and postings against this unnatural product. I hope it helps someone else to see the cause of those cursed and unwanted carbohydrate cravings.
