Members of my family have sensitivity to this artificial sweetener. We don’t all live close by one another, so it took a few years for each of us to put together that a severe headache always followed drinking diet pop or eating something else sweetened with Aspartame. One niece and I have the same reaction each time: the headache is felt in the part of the skull right behind the right ear. If we read labels and watch carefully, we don’t have problems. But, if by mistake we get something with Aspartame, we’ll know in short order.
