This is truly interesting. It so happens that I care for a head trauma patient, who is severely damaged.
His Mother had caught the last few sentences of a documentary on TV, of not to use Aspartame with any neurological defects.
My patient is over 200lbs, an ex-wrestler and gave us a big fight. He was uptight, biting on his clothes, legs outstretched, very tense. We had him on a diet; yep he got a low fat yogurt at least once a day, (contained Aspartame)
It’s been three weeks since we stopped it. And he’s 90% better. More relaxed. Still bites but not anything like before. I have noticed that now, however he’s got swollen feet (pitting pedal edema) I’m wondering if Aspartame has a diuretic affect also.
Has anyone heard of that?
