A few months ago, I saw Richard Simmons on “The Tonight Show”. Jay mentioned to Richard that he looked thinner than the last time they had seen each other. Richard said that he had quit drinking diet sodas and teas, and just started drinking water. The change resulted in losing 15 pounds. Richard described the water as getting all the “ca-ca” (Spanish for sh*t) out. Obviously even when a drink doesn’t have calories, there’s stuff in it that isn’t doing your body any favors.
