I first wrote to you last July to tell you about how I would break out in a rash whenever I did anything heat related (e.g., sunbathing, exercising, etc.). It was as if my body was allergic to my own sweat. These big, usually oblong-shaped, sometimes itchy welts would form on my arms and upper legs.
You suggested that I take the NutraSweet challenge. I did and I noticed major changes within 60 days. I don’t seem as sluggish as I was. Also, I’m readily losing weight on Atkins diet which worked when I was younger but seemed to be ineffective in the 80’s (after NutraSweet was introduced to the market).
But here’s the big test: I went down to Pompano Beach, Florida over Christmas. The weather was wonderful – 80’s and sunny. You know how chancy the weather in Florida is over the holidays. Anyway, the five days I was down there I sat in the sun hour after, reading and sipping rum and orange juice, just like I could in my 20s. NO WELTS! Three years ago, a mere four hours in the sun and I was a bumpy itchy mess. Only one thing has changed: I have eliminated NutraSweet from my diet.
I am now totally convinced that stuff is poison!
