Here is another testimony to add to your thousands of others just discovered by me on the web. I have used Aspartame for years, usually going back and forth between regular sodas and diet sodas as my “health consciousness” fluctuated. I knew that diet sodas caused me severe gastro-intestinal problems, but figured that was the price I had to pay for that “great taste and refreshing fizz”. It wasn’t until my husband informed me that he was sick of having to “rub my stomach” and maybe I should consider cutting back on the diet drinks that I decided to research NutraSweet and found your website. (My stomach cramps were so severe that I was unable to sit down or eat or do anything other than go to sleep for the evening, and I also was a chronic headache sufferer.) Now I vow that I will never knowingly ingest Aspartame again, and just regret all the years that I’ve allowed this harmful substance to ruin my body. What disturbs me the most is the children’s vitamins I have religiously given my 3 kids. All containing Aspartame, of course.
