One of the changes I made was to no longer consume artificial sweeteners (Aspartame, saccharin, etc.). I had read an article a while back regarding joint pain and Aspartame, but it took me a while to decide to give it up. I began using stevia (only a couple of days to adjust to the different taste – KAL brand is the very best!), but within a week the aches and pains in my back and joints had virtually disappeared. I now use only Stevia for sweetening and cooking. Hope this helps someone.
